Website readiness assessment
Whether search engines and AI tools can reach, read and understand your site. It assesses readiness; it does not measure recommendations.
More people now ask AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI features which business to use. As a leading GEO and AEO studio in Norwich, we make your site the clearest, most accurate source about what you do, so those tools have good information to work from. It sits alongside SEO, not instead of it.
AI search work is included in Growth Plus, or quoted on its own. A readiness review checks your site; it does not measure whether any AI tool recommends you today.
The terms are new; most of the work is not. All three come down to being a clear, accurate, useful source about your business.
No guaranteed mentions, citations or rankings in any AI tool. No score that claims to measure whether AI recommends you: our free audit scores the website foundations, with the evidence quoted. AI tools decide their own answers, and those answers change between tools, sessions and days. What can be done is making your site the clearest, most accurate source about your business, and recording honestly how you appear.
Most businesses need some of these rather than all of them. A readiness review tells you which, and each part is quoted before it starts.
Whether search engines and AI tools can reach, read and understand your site. It assesses readiness; it does not measure recommendations.
An agreed set of real questions run through selected AI tools, with each answer recorded and dated.
Crawl access, indexing, speed, canonical addresses and clean structure, so your pages can be found and read at all.
Name, location, services, areas, hours and contact details stated consistently on your site, Google profile and key listings.
Service pages, comparisons, FAQs and case studies that answer real customer questions in plain language.
Schema markup where it applies and matches the page. It helps machines read a page; on its own it does not guarantee inclusion.
Improvements over time, with periodic answer checks reported as what was asked, what came back and when.
Start with a readiness review: a manual look at your site, quoted before it starts.
Ask for a reviewIf you want to know how you currently appear, this is how it is recorded.
When answer checks are part of the scope, we agree a set of real questions your customers might ask, such as the service you offer and the place you offer it. Because answers vary, each check is a dated sample of what one tool said at one time. It is reported as that, never turned into a score.
The order follows the evidence: what the review finds decides what comes next. Each stage is quoted before it starts, and you can stop after the review.
Ask for a readiness reviewA manual review of your site and business information, with a written list of what to fix first.
The fixes ranked by likely impact and effort, with a price against each.
Technical and indexing fixes, and your business details made consistent on the site and your Google Business Profile.
Service pages, FAQs, comparisons and case studies written or rewritten to answer real questions clearly.
Where agreed, dated answer checks on an agreed set of questions, reported plainly.
Optional. Ongoing improvements, with checks repeated so changes can be compared over time.
AI search work builds on SEO. The same clear pages, accurate business details and useful content help a site rank and help AI tools describe it properly.
If your site has deeper problems, such as pages search engines cannot reach or no page for a service you sell, those come first. Some of that is website improvement work.
Growth Plus includes AI search optimisation: a readiness review when the plan starts, business information and content kept clear for AI tools, and sampled answer checks in its quarterly report. Growth covers the SEO foundations AI search builds on.

Great work from James which has brought more people to my site and I have already had a few more enquiries which I otherwise wouldn't have had as my site was super old. Great work and a fair price, would highly recommend
The same studio and the same standards, whichever part of the job you need next.
SEO is about being found in search results. GEO, generative engine optimisation, is about AI tools describing your business accurately when they write an answer. AEO, answer engine optimisation, is about structuring content so direct questions get direct, quotable answers. In practice they overlap heavily, which is why we treat them as one search strategy.
No, and nobody honestly can. AI tools decide what to say themselves, and their answers vary between tools, sessions and days. What we can do is make your site the clearest, most accurate source about your business, and record how you appear with dated samples.
No. A readiness review looks at your site and business information and tells you what makes it easy or hard for AI tools to understand. Checking how you actually appear means asking real questions in specific tools and recording the answers. That is scoped separately, and it is a sample rather than a measurement of every answer.
Not as a shortcut. Structured data is worth adding where it applies and matches what the page shows, and an llms.txt file does no harm, but neither guarantees inclusion in any AI answer. Clear, accurate, useful content does most of the work.
Yes, in Growth Plus. At £450 a month it includes a readiness review when the plan starts, business information and content kept clear for AI tools, and sampled AI answer checks in the quarterly report, alongside everything in Growth, organic backlinks, review work, automations and recommendations on paid acquisition. Growth at £250 covers the SEO foundations AI search builds on; dedicated AI search work on top of it is quoted.
It is included in Growth Plus at £450 a month. On its own it is quoted on scope: the size of the site, how much content needs creating or rewriting, and whether you want sampled answer checks and how often. You get a written quote first.
