Ads are a tap,
not a strategy.

Paid search is the fastest way to buy attention from people already looking for what you do. That makes it excellent for some businesses and a waste for others.

It works when a customer is worth a decent amount and the intent is obvious. An emergency plumber, a garage, a clinic, a solicitor: someone searching those has a problem they want solved today, and being top of the page is worth real money. It works far less well for impulse buys, low-value products, or anything nobody thinks to search for.

The other thing worth saying plainly is that ads amplify whatever your website already does. If the page people land on is slow or unconvincing, paid traffic just makes that expensive. In that case we will tell you to fix the website first rather than take a management fee to pour money into a leaky bucket.

And ads stop the moment you stop paying, which is why we usually suggest running them while SEO builds underneath, then leaning on whichever is working harder.

What we do

Built properly,
then watched.

Setting a campaign live is the easy part. Most of the value is in what happens afterwards.

01 01 Research

Work out what's worth buying

Which searches are worth paying for, and which will quietly drain the budget. Getting this wrong is the most common and most expensive mistake.

  • Keyword and competitor research
  • Realistic cost per click estimates
  • Search intent mapped to your services
  • Negative keywords from day one
02 02 Build

Campaigns from scratch

Structured properly so budget goes where it earns, rather than one lump campaign spraying money at everything.

  • Campaign and ad group structure
  • Ad copy written and tested
  • Location and schedule targeting
  • Extensions and call tracking
03 03 Track

Measure actual enquiries

Clicks are not the point. Without conversion tracking you cannot tell a working campaign from an expensive one.

  • Conversion tracking set up
  • Calls and form fills counted
  • Landing page checked for conversion
  • Analytics joined up
04 04 Manage

Managed month to month

Search terms change, competitors bid differently, and budget drifts to the wrong places. That is what the ongoing fee is for.

  • Search term review and negatives
  • Bid and budget adjustments
  • Ad testing
  • A monthly report you can read

Clicks aren't the goal. Customers are.

What we measure

It is easy to buy traffic and call it progress. The only number that matters is how many enquiries arrived and what each one cost, which is exactly what the monthly report shows.

Work out the maths

What a budget
actually buys.

Put your own numbers in. It will not tell you what you will get, because nobody can, but it will show you whether the arithmetic works before you spend anything.

£

Paid straight to the platform, not to us.

£

Change it. Yours depends on your trade and who else is bidding.

%

The share of visitors who actually get in touch.

0Clicks a month
0Enquiries a month
£0Cost per enquiry

This is arithmetic, not a forecast. It multiplies out the three numbers above and nothing more. Your real cost per click depends on your trade and your competitors, and your enquiry rate depends on your website, so change them to whatever you think is realistic. We won't promise you a lead count, and anyone who does is guessing.

Straight talking

Who this works for,
and who it doesn't.

Ads are the wrong answer often enough that it is worth checking before you spend anything.

Yes Good fit

This is for you if

  • People actively search for what you do, with obvious intent
  • A new customer is worth enough to justify paying for the click
  • You need enquiries now rather than in six months
  • Your website converts, or you are willing to fix it first
  • You can commit a few hundred a month for long enough to learn
No Poor fit

Probably not if

  • Nobody searches for what you sell, because it is new or impulse-led
  • Your margins are thin enough that a paid click cannot pay for itself
  • You want a guaranteed cost per lead, which nobody can honestly sell
  • Your website is slow or unconvincing and you do not want to change it
  • You will judge it on week one, before the campaign has learned anything
How it works

What actually
happens.

Nothing goes live until we both agree what we are buying and what it should cost.

  1. Step 1

    Sense check

What you do, what a customer is worth, and whether ads are the right tool at all. Sometimes the answer is no and we will say so.

  2. Step 2

    Build

Research, campaign structure, ad copy and tracking. Your account, your billing, in your name.

  3. Step 3

    Learn

The first weeks are about cutting what does not convert. Expect the numbers to improve as the waste comes out.

  4. Step 4

    Report

A monthly report showing what came in and what it cost, in plain terms, with a recommendation on what to do next.

Pricing

What it costs.

Two separate numbers, kept separate on purpose so you can always see where your money is going.

Management

Quote

A flat monthly fee based on campaign count and workload. Never a cut of spend.

Ad spend

Your call

Paid directly to Google on your own account. A few hundred a month is a sensible start.

In a growth plan

from £250/mo

Ads management bundled with hosting, SEO, reviews and reporting. From £250.

Ad spend is paid directly to Google on an account in your name and sits on top of any management fee, so you control the budget and can see exactly where it goes. We won't promise a set number of leads or a fixed cost per enquiry, because nobody can honestly predict that before the campaigns have run.

Questions

Common questions.

How much should I budget for ad spend?

For most small Norwich businesses a sensible starting budget is a few hundred pounds a month. We would rather start small and prove it works than talk you into a big number on day one. Your spend goes directly to Google on your own account, so you control it and can change it whenever you like.

Do you take a percentage of my ad spend?

No. Our management fee is flat and quoted up front. Charging a percentage quietly rewards an agency for spending more of your money, which is not an incentive we want. Your ad budget goes straight to Google on your account, never through us.

How quickly will I see enquiries?

Ads can put you at the top of the results the same day the campaign goes live, so enquiries can start immediately. The first month is usually about learning which searches convert and cutting the ones that do not, so expect performance to improve after that rather than to be at its best on day one.

What happens to my account if I stop working with you?

It stays yours. The account is set up in your name with your billing, so you keep the campaigns, the data and the history. Plenty of agencies build campaigns on their own account so you have to start from scratch if you leave. We do not do that.

Can you guarantee a cost per enquiry?

No, and anyone who does is guessing. It depends on your market, your competitors, your prices and how well your website converts. What we will do is tell you after the first month whether it is working, and say so plainly if it is not paying for itself.

Is Google Ads better than SEO?

They do different jobs. Ads are immediate and stop the day you stop paying. SEO is slow and compounds. Most local businesses do best running ads for enquiries now while SEO builds underneath. If you only have budget for one and you can wait, SEO usually wins on cost over time.
