FAQ

Everything people
ask before starting.

Prices, plans, ownership, and how to leave. If something isn't answered here, ask and we'll add it.

01 Getting started
What do you need from me to start?

Your web address if you already have a site, a couple of lines about what you do, and who you'd like more of. That's enough for us to run the free growth review. If we go ahead with a build, you get a short questionnaire covering your services, photos, and any sites you like the look of, and we handle everything from there.

What happens in the free growth review?

We go through your site, your Google Business Profile and two or three local competitors, then write up what we find as a prioritised list with the quick wins first. It covers whether your site is actually turning visitors into enquiries, how you show up in local search, and whether ads would pay for themselves yet. It's free, there's no obligation, and no call unless you want one. If the honest answer is that you don't need us, that's what it will say.

How long does everything take?

Websites go live in 10 to 14 days from the point we have your content. Growth work runs on its own clock: ads can be live within a week or two of launch, your Google listing improves over a few weeks, and local SEO usually takes three to six months to move properly. Anyone promising faster than that on search is guessing.

02 Money
How does payment work?

The build is split in two: 50% to book your slot and start the work, then the balance once the site goes live. You get a secure payment link for each. Monthly plans start the month after launch and run by Direct Debit. If spreading the build cost over a few months suits you better, ask and we'll set it up.

What does this actually cost me a month, all in?

There are two separate bills and it's worth keeping them apart. The plan fee is paid to us: £20 a month for hosting on its own, £250 for Growth, £450 for Growth Plus. Your ad budget is paid straight to Google or Meta on your own card, so you set it, you can see every penny of it, and we never take a cut. A local business on Growth typically starts somewhere around £300 to £600 a month of ad spend, and we'd rather you started at the low end and raised it once the numbers justify it.

Can I just have the website and nothing else?

Yes, and plenty of people do. £399 builds it, £20 a month keeps it hosted, backed up and monitored, and that's the end of it. The growth plans exist because a site on its own doesn't bring anyone to it, but that's a separate decision and you can make it six months later once you've seen how the site performs.

03 Plans, and leaving
What's the difference between Growth and Growth Plus?

Both cover the same ongoing work: hosting, local SEO, your Google Business Profile, review requests, automated enquiry follow-up, optional social scheduling and monthly reporting. The difference is advertising. Growth, at £250 a month, runs one platform, either Google or Meta, whichever suits what you sell. Growth Plus, at £450, runs both together, with retargeting across them and dedicated campaign landing pages.

Who looks after the site once it's live?

We do, on every plan. Hosting covers UK servers, SSL, daily backups, uptime monitoring and updates, and it's £20 a month on its own or included in Growth and Growth Plus. Content changes are part of the growth plans. On hosting alone, small changes are quoted as and when you need them.

What happens if I cancel?

Cancel whenever you like. No notice period, no exit fee, nothing to see out. Email us, we stop the Direct Debit, and your site stays live until the end of the month you've already paid for. We send you a copy of all your files, your domain is registered in your name, and any Google or Meta ad accounts we've set up are in your name too, so all of it leaves with you.

04 Ownership and hosting
Who owns the website, and the accounts?

You do, all of it. Once the invoice is settled, the site, the code and the content are yours to keep, wherever you choose to host them. The same goes for everything we set up alongside it: your Google Business Profile, the Google Ads and Meta accounts, and the analytics all sit in your name with us added as a manager, never the other way round.

Can I use my own hosting provider?

You can. We'll deploy to your host and hand over the files. Our managed UK hosting is the easier, fully supported route and the growth plans assume it, but it isn't a condition of buying a site.

05 What we do and don't take on
Can you build an online shop?

Yes, though online shops sit outside the £399 flat price. There's a lot more to build: product pages, payments, delivery and tax rules, and an admin area for managing orders and stock. Small and mid-size shops are a good fit and we'll quote properly once we know what you're selling. If you're planning a catalogue of hundreds of products, an agency with a dedicated team is often the better call, and we'll say so.

Can you work on my existing website?

Yes. We work on existing sites as well as new builds, whether that's WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, or a custom build. That covers full rebuilds of dated or underperforming sites, and smaller jobs like adding landing pages, better enquiry forms, or lead capture. Work on an existing site sits outside the £399 flat price and is quoted per project once we've had a look at what you have.

Do you only work with businesses in Norwich?

We're based in Norwich and know the area well, so businesses across Norfolk are our bread and butter. That said, we build for clients all over the UK, and everything can be handled by email, phone, or video call.

By service

Asking about one
thing in particular?

Each service page answers the questions specific to it: budgets, timescales, what happens if it doesn't work, and what we won't promise.

Still not sure

Ask us the awkward one.

Tell us what you do and where your customers come from now. You'll get a straight answer, usually the same day, including if the answer is that you don't need us yet.
