A launch page you can play with.

The product site for Grynd, a Mac menu bar app for people chasing a money goal. It needed to sell a product nobody could download yet, and open a waitlist while it did.

The brief

Grynd had the product mapped out, a menu bar tool that keeps your earning goal in front of you all day, but it needed a site that could open a waitlist and build interest before launch. The page had to feel like the product: bold, a little playful, and a long way from another flat corporate template.

It also had to earn sign-ups, so the waitlist could not be an afterthought buried at the bottom of the page.

What we built

A dark, high-energy single page that shows the app off rather than just describing it. The hero leads with the promise in three words, then a live demo lets visitors type an amount and watch the pace maths recalculate on the spot, exactly the way the app behaves. Everything is custom-coded, fast, and fully responsive, with the waitlist kept front and centre.

Making it feel like the app

Grynd ships with a range of colour themes, so we let the website do the same trick and repaint itself in a tap. Small details carry that personality through: a counter that keeps ticking like real earnings, progress bars, badges, and social-ready cards that mirror the app's own gamified design.

Under the hood

The waitlist is more than a form. Sign-ups run through a backend that writes each one straight into a database, so Grynd has a clean, growing list of early users ready to contact the day the app ships. It is the kind of thing visitors never notice, and exactly the kind of thing that separates a page that looks the part from one that does the job.

The result

A launch page that sells the product by letting people play with it, with the waitlist open and Grynd's story told in full, ready to turn early interest into first users.
